Date for Elections Tuesday 30th March 2010

Dear Members,
The National Association for Cancer Awareness Election is scheduled as above.
At this time the present Executive Board will officially ‘stand down’ and you, the members, have the opportunity to elect a new Board that will lead The Association and plan the program for the following 2 years.
A number of the present committee are prepared to stand for re-election which will ensure the continued smooth running of The Association
To be eligible for election you have to be a member of NACA for at least 6 months.
Please find attached nomination form. If you are interested in serving in any capacity please complete and indicate your area of interest and return it to NACA Headquarters. Closing date for nominations will be Saturday 13th March, 2010.

The National Association for Cancer Awareness
is holding a Conference/workshop
Where: at the Grand Hyatt
When: on the 14th and 15th of March 2010
Entitled: ‘Living with Cancer, Coping with Emotions & Change'
The Conference will have plenary sessions, round table discussions and hands-on workshop on self breast examination with certification for the attendees as trainers. The subjects to be discussed are on an update on cancer, volunteerism and Palliative care.
We would like to advise you that there is limited number of seats for participation and is free of charge. It is important that those who would like to participate should attend both days.

Once you are a member you will receive regular information regarding NACA events and activities and updates on the Mobile Mammorgraphy Unit.
Money generated from membership is an important source of income for NACA which is an NGO and operates soley on your generous support and contributions.
If you already a member please check your membership as it may be time to renew.
